3 pounds bone-in chicken pieces
1 gallon water
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tablespoon salt
1 large head cabbage , cored and shredded
3 large peeled and diced red potatoes
1 large carrot , diced
1 large onion , chopped
3 bay leaves
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 bunch chopped fresh dill

Instructions

1.In a large pot, bring chicken and water to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour until chicken is cooked. Remove chicken.
2.Skim fat from surface. Add condensed tomato soup, salt, cabbage, potatoes, carrot, onion, and bay leaves to the pot and bring to a simmer.
3.Simmer until vegetables are tender for about 30 minutes.
4.Shred chicken and return to the pot. Add parsley and dill.
5.Serve hot.
