1 lb ground veal
1 large egg

salt & freshly ground black pepper , to taste
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 medium onions , thinly sliced
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons water

Instructions

4.Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
5.Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set them aside.
6.In the same skillet, add the onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
7.Add the red wine vinegar, sugar and water to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
8.Return the meatballs to the skillet and toss them in the sauce until fully coated.
9.Serve the meatballs hot with your favorite side dish.
