Ingredients

24 mushrooms
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
2 garlic cloves , finely chopped
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs ( packaged )
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
The cheese-stuffed mushrooms are a classic appetizer or side dish that can be traced back to Italian origins. Instructions

5.Remove the breadcrumb mixture from heat, and sprinkle in Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, basil, and pepper. Mix well.
6.Stuff each mushroom cap with breadcrumb/cheese mixture, and arrange all of the stuffed mushrooms into an oven-safe baking dish.
7.Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the stuffing is golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.
