2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 ounces gruyere cheese , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 large egg yolk

Instructions

6.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a large baking sheet.
7.Punch down the dough and knead in the cubed gruyere cheese. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape into round loaves.
8.Place the loaves onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each loaf. Beat the remaining egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of water and brush onto the loaves.
9.Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and crusty on top.
