1 cup vegetable broth

2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/4 cups vital wheat gluten
1/4 cup nutritional yeast

1 1/2 teaspoons fennel seeds , crushed
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
3 dashes fresh black pepper

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl combine the cooked white beans, olive oil, soy sauce, and vegetable broth.
2.Add in the vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, granulated garlic, crushed fennel seeds, red pepper flakes, sweet paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, and black pepper.
3.Mix all ingredients together using a wooden spoon or your hands until a soft dough is formed.
4.Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape each piece into a sausage about 6 inches long.
5.Wrap each sausage tightly in aluminum foil, making sure to twist the ends to seal the sausages completely.
6.Place the wrapped sausages into a steamer basket and steam for 40 minutes.
7.Preheat oven to 325°F. Remove sausages from the steamer and let cool.
