1 3/4 cups your favorite pasta sauce , divided
6 no-boil lasagna noodles
10 ounces frozen chopped spinach , thawed & squeezed dry
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.In a skillet, cook and crumble the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
3.In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, pesto sauce (if using), half of shredded Italian blend cheese, egg, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
4.In a separate bowl, mix together the spinach and remaining shredded cheese.
5.Spread 1/2 cup of pasta sauce on the bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish.
6.Add 2 lasagna noodles, breaking them as necessary to fit. Top with 1/3 of the sausage, 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture, and 1/3 of the spinach mixture.
7.Repeat layers twice more, ending with the spinach mixture on top.
8.Pour the remaining pasta sauce over the top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
9.Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
