Ingredients

60 g dried porcini mushrooms ( soaked drained & chopped -NB 60g is the reconstituted weight )
175 g ground veal
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup dry white wine
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons pine nuts
3 tablespoons parmigiano-reggiano cheese , grated
2 tablespoons fresh marjoram , chopped
1 tablespoon Italian parsley , chopped
2 large eggs , beaten
salt & pepper
8 slices veal ( schnitzel slices work best , not crumbed )
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
Tomaxelle - Stuffed Veal Rolls is a traditional Italian dish that is typically made with beef, veal, or pork. In this recipe, we've used ground veal to make these delicious rolls. The stuffing is made with a combination of dried porcini mushrooms, breadcrumbs, pine nuts, Italian parsley, and grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese, making this dish rich and full of flavor. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2.In a large bowl, combine the soaked and drained porcini mushrooms, ground veal, garlic, white wine, breadcrumbs, pine nuts, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, marjoram, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper and mix well.
3.Place 1 to 2 heaping tablespoons of the veal mixture onto each of the veal slices and roll up tightly.
4.Place the rolls, seam-side down, in a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce over them.
5.Bake for about 30 minutes or until cooked through. Serve hot.
