Ingredients

175 ml beef stock

5 cm piece fresh gingerroot , peeled and finely chopped

350 g lean rump steak , cut into thin strips
175 g mange-touts peas ( snow peas )
4 portions pasta

Instructions

1.Combine cornflour, beef stock, sherry, caster sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make a sauce. Set aside.

3.Add the beef to the wok and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

5.Just before the beef is completely cooked, toss in the peas to soften them up.
6.Boil the pasta as per instructions on the package. Drain, and serve hot topped with the beef mixture.
