Ingredients

1/2 lb thinly sliced veal
1/2 lb baby portabella mushrooms , sliced
1 medium yellow onion , chopped
4 garlic cloves , thinly sliced
2 tablespoons fresh basil , chopped
2 teaspoons garlic salt ( you can cut to 1 teaspoon if you like )
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper ( watkins brand is great )
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 cup red wine ( Italian if Possible )
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup flour , with
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1 dash garlic salt
1 dash basil
3/4 cup parmesan cheese , chheese ( grated or use Kraft brand in a bag . )
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 teaspoons olive oil ( for Veal )

Instructions

1.Mix flour, salt, black pepper, garlic, and basil.
2.Coat veal in flour mixture.
3.Heat olive oil in skillet, add veal, and sauté until brown.
4.Remove veal from pan and set aside.
5.Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic to the same pan and sauté until tender.
6.Add red wine, milk, oregano, garlic salt, and fresh basil to the pan.
7.Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
8.Return veal to the pan and simmer for another 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
9.Serve with grated parmesan cheese.
