Ingredients

1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon oil
1 jar spaghetti sauce
3/4 cup water
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
6 lasagna noodles
Meatless (But Very Cheesy) No Boil Lasagna is a delicious vegetarian version of the traditional meat lasagna. This recipe is not only tasty, but also very easy to make, as it doesn't require any pre-cooking of the lasagna noodles. With plenty of mozzarella, parmesan and cottage cheese, this lasagna is definitely cheesy and very filling. On top of that, it's accompanied by a flavorful spaghetti sauce that incorporates a few additional vegetables and herbs. This is a perfect recipe for those who want to keep things simple and tasty, while still keeping things healthy.

Instructions

1.In a large skillet, sauté onions and garlic in oil until onions become translucent.
2.Add spaghetti sauce and water to the skillet and let it simmer over low heat.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together cottage cheese, parmesan cheese and 2 cups of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
4.In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the spaghetti sauce.
5.Place 2 uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce, then add a layer of cheese mixture.
6.Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you use all the noodles. Pour the remaining spaghetti sauce over the lasagna.
7.Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
8.Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes at 350°F.
9.Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

This meatless lasagna is a healthier alternative to traditional meat lasagna.

If you’re not a fan of cottage cheese, this recipe may not be for you.
