Ingredients

6 slices thin cut white bread ( recommended -- Pepperidge Farm Thin White Sandwich Bread )
1 cup soft spreadable herb cheese spread ( recommended -- Alouette )
8 slices prosciutto di Parma
12 leaves fresh arugula or 12 leaves basil
2 plum tomatoes , thinly sliced
salt
2 radishes , thinly sliced
toothpick
Italian Club Finger Sandwiches are inspired by the famous sandwich, the Club sandwich, created in the late 1800s in New York. This modern twist on the classic features the flavors of Italy, with prosciutto and herb cheese. Arugula or basil leaves and tomato add freshness to the sandwich while salt enhances the flavor. This finger sandwich version is perfect for a quick snack or light lunch, enjoyed on its own or paired with soup or salad.

Instructions

1.Lay out all the slices of bread on a flat surface.
2.Spread a generous amount of herb cheese on all slices of bread.
3.Place a slice of prosciutto on 3 slices of bread, tearing off any excess overhang.
4.On top of the prosciutto, add 4 arugula or basil leaves and a few tomato slices, and sprinkle with salt.
5.Repeat with a second layer of prosciutto, leaves, tomato, and salt.
6.Place the remaining slice of bread on top of each sandwich and press down gently.
7.Cut each sandwich into 4 equal pieces and secure with a toothpick.
