Instructions

1.Preheat slow cooker on low heat.
2.In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, chopped onion, finely chopped green pepper, lightly beaten egg, chopped garlic cloves, 1/2 can of tomato sauce (save the rest for later), seasoned bread crumbs, 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of italian seasoning, garlic salt, and black pepper together until well combined.
3.Shape the mixture into a meatloaf and place it into the slow cooker.
4.Evenly spread the remaining tomato sauce on top of the meatloaf.
5.In a small bowl, mix together the remaining grated parmesan cheese and italian seasoning.
6.Sprinkle the parmesan and seasoning mixture on top of the tomato sauce.
7.Cover the slow cooker with a lid and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until fully cooked. Use a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
8.Once done, remove the meatloaf and cut into slices. Serve hot.
