Meatballs With Parmesan and Sausage is a traditional Italian recipe that has become a staple in households around the world. Perfectly seasoned, these meatballs are juicy and flavorful, as the combination of beef and Italian sausage make them moist and extra tasty. Baked in the oven, these meatballs are a healthier alternative to the classic fried version and can be enjoyed alongside pasta, on a sandwich or on their own.

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2.In a medium-sized bowl, break the bread slices into crumbs. Add the milk and mash the bread crumbs with a fork until they are completely saturated.
3.In a large bowl, add the ground beef, sausage, garlic, parsley, oregano, basil, grated parmesan cheese, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands until combined.
4.Add the egg and mix gently until just combined. Then add the bread crumb mixture, making sure to break up any lumps and mix until fully combined.
5.Shape the mixture into meatballs, each around the size of a golf ball.
6.Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook for about 3 minutes per side, until browned.
7.Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes or until they are fully cooked through.
