PROS

Microwave Lasagna is a quick and easy recipe that can be made in under 30 minutes, perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.

It’s also a great make-ahead meal that can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer and heated up later.

CONS

Microwaving lasagna can sometimes result in uneven heating, so be sure to stir the sauce and cheese layers halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.

If you prefer a crispy top layer, you can also broil the lasagna in the oven for a few minutes after microwaving, but be careful not to overcook it.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

Lasagna can be a high-calorie and high-fat meal, but you can make it healthier by using lean ground beef and turkey sausage and substituting cottage cheese or ricotta cheese for the traditional mozzarella cheese.
Tomatoes are also a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, potassium, and lycopene, which has been linked to reduced risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer.
