Ingredients

1 lb linguine
1 1/4 lbs large shrimp , peeled and deveined
2 teaspoons creole seasoning
8 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon garlic , minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt , plus more for the pasta water
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup green onion top , chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley , chopped

Instructions

1.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, following the package instructions.
2.While the pasta cooks, season the shrimp with Creole seasoning.
3.Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, stirring occasionally. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
4.Wipe out the skillet and reduce the heat to medium-low. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet, then add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
5.Add the white wine, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the liquid has reduced by half.
6.Add the cooked shrimp, green onion tops, and parsley to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 more minutes, until the shrimp are heated through.
7.Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the shrimp and sauce mixture.
8.Serve hot and enjoy!
