Instructions

1.In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil for the fettuccine.
2.In a large skillet, heat up 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
3.Add in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4.Pour in chicken broth and add frozen peas into the skillet.
5.Add salt and white pepper to season according to taste. Simmer for about 3 minutes until the peas are cooked.
6.Cook the fettuccine according to its package instructions. Then, drain and reserve a 1/4 cup of the pasta water.
7.Add the fettuccine into the skillet with the peas. Toss well until everything is combined. If it looks dry, use the reserved pasta water to loosen, then add in the grated parmesan cheese and toss again.
8.Meanwhile, in another skillet, heat up 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Add in prosciutto ham and cook until crispy.
9.Top the green fettuccine with crispy prosciutto ham and grated parmesan cheese for serving.
