8 ounces orzo pasta
2 1/2 cups water
1 can evaporated skim milk
1/2 cup golden raisin
1/4 cup chopped pecans , toasted
1/4 cup apple butter
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

1.In a large saucepan, cook orzo according to package directions in 2 cups of water.
2.Reserve remaining half-cup of water and add it into the saucepan with cooked orzo.
3.Pour in evaporated milk, golden raisins and chopped pecans and stir.
4.Add apple butter, sugar and cinnamon, mix thoroughly and bring to a boil over medium heat.
5.Reduce the heat and stir until thickened.
6.Take off heat and let it rest for two to three minutes before serving.
