Ingredients

12 ounces penne pasta , cooked al dente
2 lbs ground beef
1 garlic clove , chopped
8 slices cooked bacon , chopped
1 small white onion , diced ( optional )
1 package sliced pepperoni
8 ounces Canadian bacon , chopped
8 ounces pizza sauce
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1/2 - 1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded
1 cup monterey jack cheese , shredded ( I use 1 pkg Pizza Blend Cheese )
If you love pizza, then you'll love V's Pizza Casserole! This dish is a twist on traditional pizza, combining all of the classic flavors and ingredients into a one-dish casserole. It's perfect for a family dinner or for serving guests at a party. The dish is made from penne pasta, ground beef, bacon, sliced pepperoni, Canadian bacon, pizza sauce, and three different kinds of cheese. It's then baked to perfection in the oven, creating a deliciously cheesy Italian delight.

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as you go.
3.Add the garlic and onion (if using), cook another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
4.Add the cooked bacon, sliced pepperoni, chopped Canadian bacon, pizza sauce, and Italian herb seasoning, stir to combine.
5.In a large pot, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions, then drain and add to the meat mixture, stirring to combine.
6.Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
7.Sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar and monterey jack cheese.
8.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
9.Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top and let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.

PROS

Not only is V’s Pizza Casserole delicious, but it’s also easy to make and can feed a large crowd.

It’s a great way to get all of the flavors of your favorite pizza in one dish!

CONS

While this dish can be made healthier by using lean ground beef and reducing the amount of cheese used, it’s still high in calories and fat.

It’s not a great option for those on a restricted diet.
