Ingredients

8 lasagna noodles
1 cup cheddar cheese , grated
1 tablespoon olive oil
500 g chicken breasts , diced
4 cups mushrooms , sliced
1 onion , chopped finely
3 garlic cloves , crushed
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon basil
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup butter , melted
2 cups milk
1 cup cheese , grated

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

7.Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Spread a small amount of the sauce on the bottom of the dish. Lay 4 lasagna noodles in a single layer in the bottom of the dish. Spread chicken on top of noodles, then cover with a layer of mushrooms. Spread a layer of sauce over mushrooms.
8.Repeat layering noodles, chicken, mushrooms, and sauce twice more. Sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese.
9.Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
