Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2.Combine salt, black pepper, cumin, rosemary, fennel seeds, red pepper flakes, oregano, and garlic in a mortar and pestle. Grind the mixture into a paste.
3.Mix the spice paste with brown sugar, wine vinegar, and olive oil in a bowl. Rub the mixture all over the pork shoulder pieces.
