Unlike traditional potato gnocchi, this dish is made with a softer, creamier mixture that is baked to create crispy, golden-brown rounds. It is a comforting and satisfying meal that is perfect for cooler weather or special occasions. While it does require some time and effort to prepare, the end result is a unique and delicious dish that your family and friends will love.

.Grease a 9-inch pie dish with 1 tablespoon of butter, then pour in the semolina mixture and spread evenly.
.Dot the surface of the mixture with the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
.Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and black pepper (if using) on top.
.Cover the dish with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until firm.

.Using a sharp knife or biscuit cutter, cut the chilled semolina mixture into rounds.
.Arrange the rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
.Serve hot and enjoy!
