1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried savory
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon ground marjoram
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
2 cups water
1 package mostaccioli pasta
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 package fresh mozzarella cheese , sliced

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

7.Add in the remaining onions, garlic, and diced green pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
8.Add the beef mixture to the sauce and stir to combine.
9.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the mostaccioli pasta according to package directions.
10.Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, stirring to combine.
11.In a large baking dish, spread a layer of the pasta and sauce mixture on the bottom.
12.Top with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the sliced fresh mozzarella cheese.
13.Repeat with the remaining pasta and sauce mixture, shredded mozzarella, and sliced fresh mozzarella.
14.Drizzle the remaining teaspoon of olive oil on top of the mozzarella cheese.
15.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
16.Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
