Ingredients

2 lbs tender young green beans , washed and tipped
3 quarts boiling water , plus 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 large garlic cloves , peeled and minced
2/3 cup coarsely chopped fresh coriander leaves ( the dried wo n't do )
5 -6 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 -4 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

1.Boil the salted water and cook the beans for about 3-5 minutes until tender but still firm.
2.Drain the beans using a colander and then shock them in ice cold water for a minute. Drain them again and pat dry with a paper towel.
3.In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4.Add in the beans, fresh coriander, lemon juice, cider vinegar, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the beans are coated in the seasoning, then heat through and serve!
