Ingredients

2 sheets puff pastry
4 large waxy potatoes , boiled the day before
1 leek
4 small onions ( or 2 large ones )
200 g seasoned bacon
200 g raclette cheese , cheesee
2 pears
2 apples , fit for baking
salt & pepper
1 egg yolk

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Cut your boiled potatoes into small pieces, and slice the leek and onions.
3.In a large bowl, mix the potatoes, leek, onions, and seasoned bacon together.
4.Grease a 9-inch pie dish and line it with one sheet of puff pastry.
5.Layer the potato mixture into the pie dish, pressing down to form an even layer.
6.Cut the pears and apples into thin slices and arrange them on top of the potato mixture.
7.Cut the raclette cheese into small pieces and sprinkle it over everything in the pie dish.
8.Cover the contents in the pie dish with the second sheet of puff pastry, and pinch the edges together to seal the pie.
9.Brush the top of the pie with egg yolk, and make a couple of small slits in the puff pastry to allow steam to escape.
10.Bake the pie for approximately 45 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
