Ingredients

1/4 cup onion , chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 lb wild mushroom , sliced ( chanterelles , cepes , or whatever you like )

pepper
7 ounces dry white wine
4 ounces cream
4 slices bread , a hearty country bread is best
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese ( or Sbrinz , if you can get it )

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F.

6.While the mushrooms cook, toast 4 slices of bread and butter them.
7.Place the toast slices on a baking sheet. Add the mushroom mixture on top of each slice of toast. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of grated parmesan cheese on each piece of toast.
8.Bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and becomes golden brown.
