Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion , chopped
1 green bell pepper , chopped
1 can tomato sauce
1 can mushrooms , drained
2 eggs
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
4 ounces cottage cheese
1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs , seasoned
1 package instant lasagna noodles
Lasagna is a classic Italian dish that has become a family favorite around the world. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, chopped onion and green bell pepper until the beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off excess fat.
3.Stir in the can of tomato sauce and drained mushrooms and mix well.
4.Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl and add the shredded mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, milk and dried bread crumbs. Mix until well blended.
5.In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the beef mixture.
6.Cover with a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.
7.Spread half of the cheese mixture on top of the noodles.
8.Repeat layers of meat sauce, noodles and cheese mixture, ending with a layer of meat sauce on top.
9.Cover with aluminum foil.
10.Bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until top is bubbly and golden brown.
