Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2.In a large saucepan, combine the water and butter and bring to a boil over high heat.

4.Reduce the heat to medium and continue to stir the dough for 2 minutes to cook out the raw flour taste.

9.Bake the gougères in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
