Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
2 cups diced granny smith apples ( about 2 apples )
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 dash ground cloves
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 lb dinner roll , quartered
cooking spray
1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries ( craisins )
1 1/4 cups apple juice
1 1/4 cups low-fat milk
3/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
6 large eggs , lightly beaten
1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

3.Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange the quartered dinner rolls in the dish. Sprinkle the dried cranberries on top of the rolls.

5.Pour the egg mixture over the top of the dinner rolls. Pour the apple-cranberry sauce over the top of the rolls as well.
6.Sprinkle toasted sliced almonds on top of the mixture.
7.Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the mixture is set.
