Ingredients

4 lbs leeks , white and light green portions , rinsed well , cut into 1/4-inch rings
1 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
3/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 cup heavy cream
6 ounces gruyere cheese , grated
3 ounces parmigiano-reggiano cheese , grated
3 lbs russet potatoes , peeled , cut into 1/4-inch slices
3 tablespoons minced fresh chives

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375F.

14.Sprinkle with fresh chives and enjoy!
