Additionally, homemade bread is generally healthier than store-bought bread due to its fewer preservatives and additives.

Instructions

.Combine bread flour, salt and yeast in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook attachment.
.With mixer running on low speed, slowly add in the warm water until the dough comes together in a ball.
.Increase the mixer speed to medium and knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes.
.Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let the dough rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
.Divide the dough into 8-10 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
.Cover the dough balls with a damp towel and let them rest for another 30 minutes.
.Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place 8 ounces of hot water in a baking dish and place it on the bottom rack of the oven.
.Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rest for an additional 10 minutes.
.Use a sharp knife to slash the top of each dough ball and place the baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven.
.Immediately spray the oven walls with hot water and quickly close the oven door.
.Bake the buns for 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
.Let the buns cool completely on a wire rack before using them for hamburger or hotdog buns.
