Ingredients

8 slices ham ( about 1 pound )
2 shallots
1 1/2 cups dry white wine
4 ounces creme fraiche ( do n't use sour cream )
1/2 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese ( or jack )
salt and pepper

Instructions

1.Slice the shallots and keep aside. Cut the ham slices into small pieces and keep them aside too.

4.Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes until the wine evaporates.
5.Add the tomato paste, salt and pepper along with creme fraiche and stir it gently.
6.Let everything cook for about 5 minutes, until the sauce turns slightly thick.
7.Top it up with some grated parmesan cheese and serve hot.
