Ingredients

3 lbs beef , cut in 1 inch cubes
4 cups beef broth ( can use water )
1 can tomato paste
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
1 cinnamon stick
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
fresh ground black pepper
2 lbs white pearl onions
1/4 lb feta cheese , cut in 1/2-inch cubes

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof pot over medium-high heat.
3.Add beef and brown on all sides.
4.Add beef broth, tomato paste, red wine vinegar, cumin seed, cinnamon stick, salt, and pepper.
5.Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
6.Add pearl onions and feta cheese into the pot.
7.Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid and bake in preheated oven for about 2 1/2 hours, until meat is very tender.
