10 ounces frozen broccoli , thawed and squeezed
10 ounces frozen whole spinach leaves , thawed
1 onion , peeled and chopped
2 green onions , chopped fine
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 ounces feta cheese
2 eggs , beaten

1/2 cup parsley , chopped
fresh ground black pepper , to taste
24 phyllo pastry sheets
1/2 cup melted butter ( more may be needed )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

3.Brush a 9-inch baking dish with some of the melted butter.
4.Unroll the phyllo sheets and cover with a damp towel to prevent them from drying out.
5.Layer the phyllo sheets in the baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
6.Spread the broccoli-spinach mixture on top of the phyllo layers.
7.Layer the remaining phyllo sheets on top of the mixture, again brushing each layer with melted butter.
8.Score the top of the phyllo with a sharp knife to make it easier to cut later.
9.Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
