Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Add water and lemon juice to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
3.Lower heat to medium and add 1 cup sugar. Let sugar melt and turn into caramel.
4.Pour caramel into a 9 inch cake pan, tilting the pan until the bottom is well coated with caramel.

9.Place the cake pan into a larger pan and add boiling water to the larger pan until it reaches halfway up the side of the cake pan.
10.Bake for 1 hour until golden and set. Allow to cool at room temperature before unmolding.
11.Invert onto a serving plate and serve chilled.
