1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup golden raisin
1/4 cup rum or 1/4 cup boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/2 cup chopped lightly toasted blanched almond
1 1 tablespoon margarine , softened or 1 tablespoon cooking spray , with flour
3 tablespoons finely ground blanched almonds
16 whole lightly toasted blanched almonds

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Grease 12-cup gugelhupf pan with margarine or cooking spray and flour.
3.In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil, water, and almond extract. Mix well.
4.Add in raisins, rum or boiling water, lemon zest, and chopped almonds. Mix well.
