Ingredients

2 lbs halibut or 2 lbs cod
4 tablespoons horseradish root , grated
4 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 pint sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
2 tablespoons onions , chopped
1 teaspoon white vinegar
3 tablespoons fresh dill , finely chopped
1 head lettuce
2 eggs , hard boiled
3 tomatoes , peeled and wedged
Fiskesalat Med Pepperrotsaus, or Fish Salad with Horseradish Sauce, is a popular dish in Norway and Denmark. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375F.
2.Line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper.

4.While the fish is baking, prepare the pepper sauce by mixing the grated horseradish, prepared horseradish, sour cream, salt, white pepper, onions, vinegar, and fresh dill together in a bowl.

7.Flake the fish into bite-sized pieces and mix with the pepper sauce.
8.Spoon the fish mixture over the lettuce and garnish with hard-boiled eggs and tomato wedges.
