Beba's Norwegian Waffles are a traditional Nordic dish, which is usually made on special occasions, such as weddings, Christenings, and birthdays. The recipe varies from region to region and from family to family. It is believed that the waffles have been around since the 1700s when they were baked on a special iron stove. Today, they are usually made on an electrical waffle iron. They can be served with fresh berries, whipped cream, jam, or ice cream.

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.
2.Add butter, vanilla, and cardamom, and whisk together until smooth.
3.In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
4.Add half of the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir well. Add half of the milk and stir again. Repeat with the remaining dry mixture and milk until all ingredients are well combined.
