1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons grated orange zest

2/3 cup almonds , coarsely chopped
2/3 cup almonds , finely chopped
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon brandy ( optional )

Instructions

10.Pour the batter into prepared pan. Arrange sliced almonds on top evenly. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon brandy (optional).
11.Bake the semolina cake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
12.Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes.
13.Remove the sides of the pan and transfer the cake to a serving plate for cooling.
