Originated from the small town of Lillehamar in Norway, these cream melts are a delicious pastry that packs a rich, buttery flavor. They are enjoyed all across the Nordic region as a classic pastry with a cup of coffee or tea, and extremely easy to whip up. While butter and sour cream add to the smooth and creamy texture, the sour cream also contributes to the flaky and melt-in-your-mouth texture of the cookie. With the right amount of sweetness to the cookie, these cream melts are everyone’s favorite.
