Ingredients

1 package active dry yeast , 1 tablespoon
1/2 cup warm milk
2 cups flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons butter , melted and cooled
1 1/4 cups warm milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs , separated

Instructions

1.In a bowl, combine yeast, ½ cup warm milk and 1 tablespoon sugar. Rest for 5 minutes.

4.Add flour mixture and stir until just combined.
5.Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
6.Fold egg whites into batter.
7.Preheat a waffle iron and grease with cooking spray.
8.Pour ¾ cup of batter on the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
9.Serve with whipped cream and fruits of your choice!
