Ingredients

1 egg
1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2/3 cup milk
1 lb ground beef
3/4 cup cooked rice
6 large cabbage leaves
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 pinch ground allspice ( if you have it )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.In a large bowl, beat egg, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion, and milk together.
3.Add ground beef and cooked rice. Mix well.
4.Put 1/3 cup of meat mixture in center of cabbage leaf. Roll up cabbage and tuck in ends to enclose filling. Secure with toothpick.
5.In a separate bowl, mix tomato soup, brown sugar, lemon juice, and allspice.
6.Add half of the tomato soup mixture to a baking dish.
7.Place cabbage rolls on top of the sauce in the dish.
8.Pour remaining tomato soup mixture on top of cabbage rolls.
9.Bake covered for 1 hour.
10.Remove toothpicks before serving.
