1 dash black pepper , to taste
1 dash ground ginger , to taste
1 dash ground nutmeg , to taste
1 -2 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 tablespoonst unsalted butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1/2 teaspoon instant coffee powder

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F.

4.Form meat mixture into meatballs and brown in 1-2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet.
5.Transfer the browned meatballs to an ovenproof casserole dish.
6.Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet and whisk in flour until golden brown.
7.Dissolve beef bouillon cube in boiling water and whisk in coffee powder and the roux made in step 6.
8.Pour the mixture over the meatballs in the casserole dish and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
