Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a tart pan with a removable bottom.
2.Beat 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and egg yolk until fluffy.
3.Add 1 cup of flour and mix until crumbly.
4.Press mixture into prepared pan and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
5.In another bowl, cream 1/3 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.
6.Gradually add in 2/3 cup of ground blanched almonds and 2 eggs, mix until smooth.
7.Add green food coloring to mixture and combine.
8.Place mixture into prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
9.Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Cool before serving.
