Instructions

1.In a large pot, warm the milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it reaches a temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.Remove the pot from heat and add the sugar. Stir until dissolved.
3.Allow the mixture to cool to about 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
4.Beat the eggs in a separate bowl until frothy. Gradually add the cooled milk and sugar mixture, stirring continuously.
5.Add the ground cloves and a pinch of salt, and mix well.
6.Transfer the mixture to a large, greased baking dish and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50-60 minutes, or until the cheese has set and the top is golden-brown.
7.Cool completely before serving.
