Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400F.
2.Combine ground beef, minced garlic and shallot, paprika, mustard powder, thyme, dill, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Use a spoon to mix well.
3.Roll mixture into 2 inch sized balls.
4.In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter on medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Place on a baking sheet.
5.Bake meatballs in the oven for 15 minutes.
6.While meatballs cook in the oven, sauté mushrooms in the skillet. Add paprika, mustard powder, thyme, dill, salt, and pepper.
7.In a separate saucepan melt butter and stir in flour to create a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes until mixture turns a light brown.
8.Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring continuously.
9.Add and whisk in sour cream to the broth mix.
10.Mix in cooked mushrooms and cooked meatballs to this creamy gravy before serving.
