500 g apples
15 ml lemon juice
90 g butter
100 g sugar , plus
30 ml sugar
2 medium eggs
100 g flour
Eve's Pudding is a classic English dessert that dates back to the 18th century. The pudding gets its name from the biblical story of Adam and Eve, as apples are a key ingredient in the recipe. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 8-inch square baking dish.
2.Peel, core, and slice the apples and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice and toss to coat.
3.Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add the 100g of sugar and stir until dissolved.
4.Beat the eggs in a small mixing bowl.
5.Add the eggs, flour and 30ml of sugar into the sugar and butter mixture in the saucepan, stirring until smooth.
6.Layer the sliced apples in the baking dish and pour the batter over the top of the apples.
7.Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the pudding is browned and the apples are soft.
