Ingredients

2 garlic cloves
55 g butter
8 asparagus spears
55 g parmesan cheese , grated
8 sheets phyllo pastry
8 slices parma ham
black pepper
Phyllo-Wrapped Asparagus & Prosciutto Rolls are a perfect combination of fresh, healthy asparagus and salty, satisfying prosciutto. With only a few ingredients, these rolls are easy to prepare and make the perfect appetizer or light lunch. Instructions

1.Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely.
2.Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat then add the garlic and set aside.
3.Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears.
4.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
5.Take one sheet of phyllo pastry and brush with the garlic butter.
6.Place another sheet of phyllo pastry on top of the first and brush again with garlic butter.
7.Cut the layered phyllo pastry into four strips.
8.Place a slice of parma ham along one end of each strip.
9.Place one asparagus spear on top of each slice of ham. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and black pepper.
10.Roll the phyllo pastry around the asparagus and ham until the roll is complete.
11.Brush the rolls with any remaining garlic butter.
12.Place the rolls onto a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the phyllo pastry is golden and crisp.
13.Serve hot.
