Instructions

1.In a bread machine, add milk, softened butter, egg, salt, sugar, and flour.
2.Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and add yeast.
3.Select the dough cycle on the bread machine and start the process.
4.When the machine beeps, add mixed spice and sultanas.
5.Restart the dough cycle and continue until the machine beeps again.
6.Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C.
7.Grease and flour muffin cups or line with paper cups.
8.Divide the dough into muffin cups and sprinkle with cornmeal.
9.Leave to rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes.
10.Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
11.Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Then, remove the muffins from the pan and cool them further on a wire rack.
