Ingredients

1 package refrigerated crescent dinner rolls ( 8 rolls per package )
3 tablespoons strawberry fruit preserves ( or jam ) or 3 tablespoons raspberry fruit preserves ( or jam )
1 tablespoon butter , melted
1 tablespoon chopped blanched almond
1 tablespoon confectioners ' sugar

These pastries are crescent-shaped rolls filled with your choice of strawberry or raspberry fruit preserves. They are brushed with melted butter, sprinkled with chopped blanched almonds and dusted with confectioners' sugar. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F ( 190 degrees C ). Grease a baking sheet.
2.Separate dough into 8 triangles. On each triangle, spread 1/2 teaspoon of preserves to within 1/4 inch of edge. Roll up lightly, starting at shortest side, rolling to opposite point.
3.Arrange pastries on prepared baking sheet. Brush each pastry with melted butter. Sprinkle with chopped almond.
4.Bake at 375 degrees F ( 190 degrees C ) for 11 to 13 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes then sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
