Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2.Boil the peeled and sliced potatoes and turnips in a large pot until tender. Drain the water and mash them together with a potato masher.
3.In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced cabbage or kale and cook until soft, for about 5-8 minutes.
4.Add the cooked greens to the mashed potatoes and turnips and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5.Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top.
6.Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot and enjoy!
